This is my 5th album and a loving, prayerful tribute to my mother and father. Gloria Elaine Gardner and Owen George Gardner. I hope you enjoy this selection of tunes that were the backdrop of my childhood. I can still hear my father singing Burt Bacharach’s ‘Alfie’ and Ben E King’s ‘Stand By Me’. The songs are presented with the traditional jazz instruments – vocals, piano, acoustic bass, drums and horns. Most of all, these songs are presented with love. The same love that we felt growing up in the household of Gloria and Owen Gardner. My brother, Aniefe Anthony and my sister, Paula Marie, are still ‘feeling that love’ today; hence the title of this recording. ‘Feeling The Love, Songs Of My Mother, Songs Of My Father’.

Whether in heaven or on earth; we are loved by you – Mummy and Daddy. Continue to smile down on us from your heavenly place and know that we continue to honor you in our day to day lives.
